My card is fairly simple, but I loved the idea of taking the set of small Lavinia fairies and pairing them with one of the large Abstract floral stamps by Tim Holtz. There is definitely a whimsical factor with the bold flower that is not hard to imagine it blooming with fairies nearby.
I stamped simply in black and colored with Distress Watercolor Pencils, adding shimmer afterwards using some Distress Spritz with a fine paintbrush. I added a soft stenciled background behind them to mimic the forest. I spritzed some splatters of the same spritz over the Kraft cardstock panel to carry the magic further.
The finishing touch was to use the smaller frame from this fun set by Aall & Create to die cut the stamped Kraft panel. A black A2 card makes a striking frame for the simple scene.
