I'm patiently waiting to have the new Lumberjack Plaid Distress Ink to play with... so I pulled out a few red-ish shades (mostly Crackling Campfire & Fired Brick, plus a bit of Kitsch Flamingo & Wilted Violet on some pieces. The green is all Peeled paint) to create some poppy-like flowers with some of the smaller blooms in the Brushstoke Flowers #2 & #3 die sets by Tim Holtz.
These smaller blossoms are a nice addition to a standout sentiment like the large Twiggy Hugs by Memory Box I've used here. I really like how nicely they surrounded it on the book print panel. I don't know about you, but I'm getting some poppy vibes! This card will be a perfect Thinking of you/sympathy card for this time of year... one of those ones you hate to have to send! I played around with adding more layers, but kept it simple so the details stand out.
I even tried my hand at a reel on IG for this card, so we will see what kind of views that one gets! LOL
