Happy Tuesday! Today I'm sharing a super simple but bright & cheery card inspired by the SNS Challenge word "blend"... my background layer started as a stamped background I made that I just really didn't like. I decided to pull out some paints and do a subtle ombre blend over it to make it something I could use!
I blended together Distress Paint in Speckled Egg, Salvaged Patina & Cracked Pistachio, from left to right across the Cardstock. I trimmed the outline portion of the butterfly from this card and layered it over some corrugated scraps I'd splattered and sprayed over with some Dina Wakley paints (which gave it a glossy finish). I added a spritz of mica spray for extra shine!
I finished off the card with more simple die cutting- bold text cut from my background (yep, that's the 'wish' I used on last week's card!) and a deckled edge and a bit of twine!
That's really all there is to this card- super simple, ready to be shared with a friend :)
