I'm back, sharing a fairly simple card today with some big love for evergreens! I've combined stamps & dies by Tim Holtz- Sketch Greenery Stamps & Holiday Greens dies. (The large set I used is not currently in the online store, but the mini holiday greens are in stock!) They play well together with a tree window from the Picket Fence Studios Slim Line Die Cutting System. Dylusions fans will notice I've also used some stars from an old wooden stamp!
I wanted a somewhat rustic feel, so I chose to cut the window from a Kraft panel and layer an inky background behind it. I stamped the sentiment over it in a dark brown ink, and it's really my only regret with this card... I wish I'd embossed it in silver! I added some stars in the same brown and silver glitter glue to give it a little something extra & tie those elements together. I especially love how the glitter makes the branch, which I cut from paper I inked up with Distress Inks, look frosty.
Little touches like some blue crinkle ribbon from my stash and a word token finish everything off. The little details really add a lot to this card, as always!
Inky hugs,
Tara
