Happy Tuesday! The combination of the change in the weather and the appearance of Christmas decor and music everywhere had me changing my plans for today. I've got a simple Christmas card to share featuring the Festive Overlay stamp set by Tim Holtz.
As I mentioned, it's a simple card. I pulled out a variety of older Tim Holtz products (including this kraft resist paper I've had for probably 7 or 8 years and never used) and a few shades of
red Distress Oxide Ink. The Snowflake border was one of the earliest of his dies and I still love using it on holiday cards.
I finished off the simple stamping on a kraft tag with a ribbon bow and a Christmas token (mine is from my stash, there's a
new variety for 2019!) attached with a
jingle brad.
This would be a fun card to mass produce, mixing up the colors & images from the stamp set for fun variety of cards that are similar, but not identical! Personally, I can never settle on one design to do dozens of and send off. Once I get started, I want to keep trying something new!
Hope you enjoyed and are staying warm, wherever you are... maybe with some inky fingers ;)
Inky hugs,
Tara
