One in a Chameleon

Happy Tuesday!

Today I've got a quick, cute tag that would be a great tie on to a Valentine's gift, but I avoided the traditional red & pinks so it could be used anytime for someone special :)

Lawn Fawn's mini sets are perfect for little projects like this and the combo of cute images, quirky puns and a fab price point make them pretty irresistable! This one in a chameleon set has to be one of my personal faves though (and it's on SALE in the SNS store right now!)

It's a fun one because it can be any color you want it to be... I sat and did a bunch a while back in shades of green, blue, yellow and orange and this little guy was the last of them.  I decided to work with a background of green & blue (mowed lawn & peacock feathers Distress Oxide on a kraft tag with a sweet heart pattern like this one from MFT) and to ink up a die cut heat with spiced marmalade & fossilized amber to tie it all together.  The little heart in the stamp set was a nice fit to add some black highlights to a few of the hearts in the background and a few glossy white dots (Nuvo crystal) finished it all off!  The detailing on the heart started out glossy white, but picked up the color from the oxides it was spread over.  Kinda gives a cool tone-on-tone effect!

I hope you like my little tag!  It was fun to put together and a nice break from the traditional valentine colors.

Inky hugs,
Tara
