I love the tag Tim Holtz created for June... the coffee dies he used are definitely on my wish list! I didn't have any of the products he used, but I decided I could improvise- starting with changing the focal point from a take out coffee cup to a pair of cute mugs/tea cups. My mom sent me an envelope packed full of these die cuts that she cut from a variety of papers & materials, so I set to inking them up for this project :) I sorta followed the techniques on Tim's tag (though I couldn't make a plaid background with the stencil I used!) and here's what I came up with... a much more feminine version of the tag, I suppose! It also majors on some of the new Distress Colors for 2015... since they seem to be what I reach for lately on the rare occasions I actually make something!
