Love a simple sketch!

I was inspired to make cards yesterday based on a simple sketch... my goal was to take one sketch and create several different cards based on it.  I fell in love with a sketch from the As You See It Challenge blog, and even though I missed the deadline to enter my cards, I think I've found a blog I'll be heading back to for inspiration again!  Here's the cards I made:

And here's a closer look at each of them!  They each feature a tag I inked up with Distress Ink, some large prima flowers, a Hero Arts background, some Art Impressions bird stamps and washi tape!  My sentiments are from a stash I have pre-printed on kraft, designed by me :)

 

I added a bit of gloss to the birds with a perle pen by Viva Decor, it's got a slightly pink shimmer to it.

Sorry about the shadows- I was blessed with a ton of sunshine outside yesterday :)

there's something so sunny & happy about orange!
