I'm ready for spring, and was playing with sprays & stencils the other day with a cheery lime green! The colour and shimmer made me happy, and I used some tags to pick up the extra ink on my stencil. Today's cards are what I made with those little tags! As you can see on this card, I trimmed the top off my tag, but used it as a tab on the card since the sketch called for one :) My little turtle (by Lawn Fawn) was stamped on watercolour paper and painted with Distress Markers. The shell was covered with Crackle Accents by Ranger. I also used a Hero Arts background stamp and Basic Grey paper, plus some washi tape from my stash!
I used a sketch from Your Next Stamp Challenge #10, as well as inspiration from their colourful inspiration photo for this somewhat wild card! I had fun playing with a variety of colours and patterns to make a cheery card that will hopefully brighten someone's day when they are feeling under the weather and are ready for a speedy recovery!
Here's a second card I made, something more suitable for a guy! This one is a lot more simple, but it's in one of my fave colour schemes, so it didn't take much to make me happy right there!
I love the little splashes in the background on the tag! And the crackle on the shell is one of my fave textures to add to a simple project!
Other challenges I'd like to enter: The Sisterhood of Crafters challenged us to use an animal on their project. Penny's Challenge was to use a fave colour combo.
