New York Canvas

Several years ago, I went to New York City with my friend, Becky and my sister, Joy. When Tim Holtz released his District Market line, which includes printed burlap panels like this 'subway print' design, I knew it would end up being a gift for Becky one day! Her birthday is coming up this week and I finally took some time to create this for her:
Sorry about the lousy photo... just snapped a pic on my phone before giving it to her this weekend.  Here's a close up!
I've used the skyline die from QuicKutz, new Vintage Double Dot paper by BoBunny, Tim Holtz butterfly M&S dies & film strip tape and some assorted embellishments from my stash, as well as Vintage Gold Perfect Pearls Mist.  I made a card with some of the bits left over from the project, including the outer cut from the canvas butterfly dies!
Stamps are by Hero Arts.

I'm really pleased with how the canvas panel turned out... I think I'll be creating a similar one for myself!

Oh that turned out GREAT! That TH filmstrip is still one of my favorite embellishments. Love the canvas butterfly. She probably loved it!
