It's time again for a new sketch over at the Graphicat Sketch Challenge Blog! Cheri has a great new sketch for you to use this month, so we hope you'll play along with us! Check out all the details and see the cards created by the rest of the Crafty Catz over at the Challenge blog! Here's what we're playing with this month:
... and here's what I did with the new sketch:
I've used Graphicat's Boomer Cat image & Coffee Cat sentiment together with Angie by Kraftin' Kimmie. I sized Boomer Cat so he's real small (though clearly a large cat- much like my own kitty, Tazo!) giving me a perfect combo of cat & coffee for my sentiment ;)
Other fun stuff I used:
- Tattered banners die by Tim Holtz
- Weathered clock die by Tim Holtz
- Trendsetter papers by Webster's Pages
- Brads from my stash (My Mind's Eye?) & Distress Ink
- Copic Markers- with Memento Ink on Copic Xpress It Cardstock
- Glossy Accents on my coffee, cat eyes and clock hands
My card is pretty low on embellishments... just a few brads! Unfortunately not quite low enough to enter it in the Kraftin' Kimmie challenge this week, which is to make a card with NO embellishments- yikes, not an easy one! Maybe I'll try that on another card... or maybe I just love my embellishments too much LOL.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you'll swing by and check out what the rest of the Crafty Cats have created with the sketch! If you're not already a follower on my blog, I'd be delighted to have some more friends join me here!
