A friend of mine gave birth to a sweet baby girl about a month ago so I made this card for her baby shower! I was heavily inspired by the current Sketch Saturday layout and the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge to be pretty in pink ;) I stamped this little cutie (Mo Manning for Stampavie) in Brown Memento... so I took the liberty to add touches of brown on my card too. I loved working with these new papers from Echo Park- Life is Good! I added a touch of pink to my white flowers with my Copic Markers and pearls to finish it off. My main image is cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities and the strip at the bottom was cut with my fave Tim Holtz edge die!
It's pretty basic... but here's the inside of the card. My sentiments on the front & inside are from a set by Hampton Art (part of our selection of BOGO images in the store right now!).
... and in case you missed it, here's a peek at the cute card & yummy cupcakes we enjoyed on Saturday at our Die Cut Club Party! The card features dies from the new QuicKutz Special Delivery Gift Set (Card shape, scalloped circle & stitching die) and the Birds & the Bees release. We used the new Raindrop alphabet and two different flower dies (one of which is the exclusive club die!). We played with adhesive backed fabric by American Crafts (love it!) QK's white adhesive backed chipboard for the letters. The cupcake liners are also cut from a limited edition cupcake die :)
Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed the blast of PINK in your day :)
