Cup of love

It's been a while since I've shared a layout here, so I thought I should do that (I'm in a card-making phase right now, though the Basic Grey POTM is keeping me scrappin'! I should share the May layout too, eh? Watch for that soon...) Anywho, here' s the first project I did when the new colours of Tim Holtz Distress Ink showed up in the store!

I wanted to use as many as I possibly could on one project (heehee) so I pulled out a gorgeous sheet of 'Invisibles' paper and started in with my blending tool! I went a little heavy on the blues, but I love the end result, regardless! I stamped over the entire background with one of my most loved (ie. heavily stained & much used!) stamps, a gorgeous script background by A Stamp In the Hand. I love how the white pops off the page when you buff the ink off it!

These photos are 'vintage' ones of me as a toddler (I LOVE that my dad is into photography and used to do black & white photo processing! Never worry about taking too many photos of your children, folks, they'll love you for it one day!) that my parents had used to make a valentine for my grandparents one year. I know, cute, right? I kept this really simple with a title out of Pink Paislee glitter letters (fabulous!), black grosgrain ribbon and a white Prima flower!

I looooove this page! What is Invisibles paper?

Thanks, Roxanne! It's by Heidi Swapp and it's pre-printed with an "invisible" (kinda like heat embossed) image that will resist ink, etc. Very easy to work with!
