Introducing our Stamp of the Month for May 2009! This month's stamp is actually a pair of images- both the greeting and the tall toadstools from Cornish Heritage Farms (a combo they featured as their SOTM a couple months ago) are mounted on cling foam and they stamp beautifully! Cornish Heritage Farms is a new company in our store, and we're celebrating it's arrival with a promo... when you purchase any stamp or stamp set by CHF, you can enter to win a package of 3 discontinued stamp sets! We'll do the draw next weekend and announce the winners a week from today (If you receive our SOTM via mail order, please e-mail us if you'd like to be entered in the draw!)
I die cut the new adhesive backed cork from QuicKutz for this card, and for the title on our sample board. It cuts beautifully and makes a great surface to stamp on, perfect for the masculine feel of these stamps (I'm not sure how masculine the purple is... but it just sorta worked for our sample board)!
Tanya created this one using one of the new contact card dies from QuicKutz- I love the extra toadstool along the side and the combo of ribbons to make this unique Father's Day card.
I used the QK adhesive backed cork again on this card... this time for the greeting stamp! I was thrilled that the brand new Wisteria papers from Basic Grey worked so well with the images- we don't often get a chance to play with new products while they're still really new ;) My toadstools were coloured with copic markers, and the top of the large toadstools was paper-pieced with some scraps of paper I had laying around... I think they're from an old Cosmo Cricket paper!
Mom put together this little cutie- don't you love the polkadot paper piecing? Such a fun touch!
Let us know what you think of our samples and this month's stamps- we'd love to see what you come up with using them!
