May Stamp of the Month

Our May SOTM is a decorative frame wood mounted stamp by Hampton Art Stamps. Isn't it pretty? Did you notice the fabulous new 12" QuicKutz border we die cut for our background?

We had fun teaming it with a variety of images- first we stamped it with Brilliance pearlescent chocolate ink (love it!) on vellum, then stamped the coordinating message stamp and blossom (by Inkadinkado) in the same ink on patterned paper. Simple & Elegant.

Doesn't javabella fit nicely into the frame? I wanted to do something a bit more whimsical for this card, and Bella is always a good choice :) I colored in the frame & bella with watercolor pencils.

Mom stamped this one with Brilliance ink onto a transparency, then overlayed it on a photo (do you recognize this spot?). She added a fabulous new prima flower and "Mom" out of the new QK font "Chopsticks" which I love... you'll also notice it is the font we used to spell "May 2008" on the sample board!

This last card is actually the first I did- this frame fits perfectly on an ATC card! I masked off the frame and inked up the edges with several shades of blue chalk ink. This quote by Inkadinkado fit perfectly inside the frame and the QK bird added the finishing touch. This card was quick & easy using this gorgeous patterned paper by Doodlebug!
