Life is busy here at the store as we prepare for our FIESTA coming up this Saturday! We're prepping for classes & filling goodie bags while we work to price the new products that keep arriving... so many good things in store!
I just wanted to do a quick post and highlight some happenings on Fiesta day!
FIRST, everyone is invited to participate in our Silent Auction, which will be located in the classroom area of our store on Saturday May 3. Auction items have been donated from several local businesses and some of our fabulous suppliers as well as Fiesta participants (ladies- if you bring in an auction item, you'll get a bonus ticket for our grand prize draw!). All proceeds from our Silent Auction go towards the Canadian Cancer Society, so we encourage everyone to come check it out and make your bids!
SECOND, we're having a card & layout contest and you can bring in your submissions early (by May 1- and you'll get an extra ticket!) or bring them in on the day of the Fiesta (or complete them AT the Fiesta- voting will start at 2pm). Each entry gets you 1 ticket for our Grand Prize Draw (that's 2 tickets if you bring it in by May 2). We'll have two categories within the card/layout categories- Quick & Simple OR Embellished & Enhanced.
THIRD... and not really Fiesta related, Saturday May 3 is more than our Fiesta Day- it's also National Scrapbooking Day! So... even if you're not coming to the Fiesta, it's gonna be worth your while to stop by and enjoy some fabulous savings in the store that day! If you're on our email list, watch for an e-mail with details on the sale coming at the end of the week!
