Can you believe it's May already? I've yet to get photos of our complete Stamp of the Month (SOTM) sample board, but I can still give you a peek at our new stamp, called "Scroll background" by Hampton Art Stamps. I fell in love with this stamp, with scrolling flourishes & text, when I saw it at CHA. When it arrived, I was blown away by how deeply etched the rubber is! I knew as soon as I saw it that it would be perfect with UTEE!
I die cut some Tim Holtz butterflies from Grungepaper and applied two layers of black UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel) followed by 2 layers of Midnight Teal Obsidian embossing powder by Lindy's Stamp Gang. While my final layer was still hot, I stamped into it with a light layer of Versamark ink on the rubber. I let the stamp sit in the UTEE for a short while so it could cool, then lifted it off to see this gorgeous, shimmery texture!
Isn't it lovely? My card also features the Serenity collection by BoBunny, and another of those awesome sentiment blocks by Graphic 45... hope you're not sick of seeing them yet :)
Hope you like it! I'll be back soon with the rest of our samples featuring this gorgeous stamp!
