I love it when you finally get around to making a card with a stamp that's been in your stash for a long time... like this great image of owls in a tree by Memory Box Stamps! I bought this stamp well over a year ago, when I first discovered Memory Box as something to remind me to bring them into our store! I ordered the image again when we finally brought Memory Box to Creative Accents in February and finally, I've got a card to show ya!
Here's a close up of the image- I raised up the owls for some extra dimension on this card.
I've used the current CPS Card Sketch for my layout. I started with a kraft base for my card then layered on papers from the fabulous For the Record collection by Echo Park. I've embellished with twine from the Twinery and pearls. I added extra texture by stamping over my image with a 'thank you' definition from Hero Arts and distressing the edges, as well as adding some Tim Holtz Tissue Tape to my background. My main sentiment is also from Hero Arts.
