We're very excited to introduce to you our November SOTM... "Warm Winter Drink" by Whipper Snapper Designs- our newest stamp company :) I confess, I fell in love when I saw this little snow-dude in a mug! As you can see from the samples below, he works fabulously with last month's coffee sentiments, but he could just as well be used with hot chocolate, tea & snowman sayings! Here's our sample board at a glance:
We had the pleasure of getting many of our Design Team members involved in making samples this month, and all of us used BoBunny's "Winter Joy" paper collection for our patterned paper!
This first card is the one I (Tara) made. I stamped & embossed my image in white on a brown cardstock, which I cut using Spellbinders dies. My snowman was also stamped on Neenah cardstock and coloured with Copics, then trimmed & mounted 3D over the brown image. The rest of the card is pretty self explanatory... lots of bling on the flourishes, sentiment from Kraftin' Kimmie & ribbon by Amuse (new colours are in the store!). Ooooh- I also discovered that a pretty pad of paper by K & Co. we had in the store is the *exact* colours for this paper collection, so the green layer you see is all pretty and shimmery-yum!
This cutie was created by Tanya- as you can see, we both have the same fave. paper from this collection LOL. I love the elegant colour scheme here and wintery details. Tanya will have all the deets up on her blog later this week- but don't wait until then to visit her there, she'll be sharing exciting news tomorrow!
This sweet shaker card was created by Chris! I love the giant snowflake and the pretty mix of colours- shakers are always so much fun!
Cheri made this amazing creation... it is a 'bonus' card as it didn't fit on the sample board- mostly because you have to be able to open this card to appreciate how fab it really is! She's mounted the image on the inside of the card behind this layered window- so cool! This card is a glittery masterpiece :)
Here's another 'bonus' card from Carla- obviously she's having fun with this image because she made us TWO cards with the SOTM! I can't wait to see what else she does with it!
Here's the card Carla made that you'll find on our sample board- so many fabulous details on this one! I love that she used that funky plastic ribbon my Maya Road- hopefully she'll tell us how she attached it on her blog :) It's perfect with these papers, can't believe I didn't notice that before!
Wasn't that a fabulous bit of inspiration for ya? We're so blessed to have such a talented Seriously Creative Design Team! Be sure to visit them all and tell them so (but feel free to share some love here, too)!
