August SOTM

Introducing our August Stamp of the Month- a gorgeous shell frame collage stamp by Impression Obsession!

We've sweetened up your SOTM packages a little bit this month with the addition of 10 kraft tags (as seen on Tara's cards) and six seashell embellishments (also on our cards) packaged together in the bag with this beautiful cling mounted stamp.  For our samples, we've used papers from Creative Imaginations "Oceanside" collection.  It's gorgeous, available in both 12x12 and 6x6 papers.

Here's the cards I (Tara) created:

For this first one, I stamped with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink on a kraft tag and brushed over it with Perfect Pearls.  I stamped a sentiment over the frame with Versafine ink and added some resin seashells to finish the tag.  My bow features our fabulous inkable crinkable ribbon dyed with three shades of blue Distress Stain.  The flourish below the tag was die cut with plain chipboard, then misted with Perfect Pearl Mist (the same shades I used on the stamped image).  I added some texture to the card with some dry wall tape :)

The shell frame collage on this card was inked with several shades of distress markers and stamped on ivory cardstock, then misted with Bronze Perfect Pearl Mist.  The sentiment was stamped on a piece of kraft tag... which, when I tore it, I discovered it has a blue core!  So cool, and perfect for this card!  The background layer is a resist paper from this same collection, inked with shades of distress ink then misted with Bronze Perfect Pearl Mist (and quickly wiped so it didn't all stick to the shiny 'resist' parts of the design).

I hope you'll agree... this versatile stamp is a perfect summer image, very easy to use with fantastic results!
