More Challenges!

I just adore this image by Mo Manning (Stampavie)... she makes me want to go find a field of flowers and day dream all day *sigh* Here's two cards I created using her (coloured with my Copic Markers, of course!) together with the Queen Bee papers by Pink Paislee (again-heehee)!

This first card is for the Sketch Saturday Challenge! Yep... SATURDAY, and I even made it on SATURDAY! I'm pretty impressed with myself! I cut off the bottom of the card in my photo-oops- but it's just a white margin. The flowers are by Prima, coloured with Mustard Seed Distress Ink. The sentiment is by Hero Arts and the tab is from the QuicKutz 'Santa's Workshop' Holiday Gift Set.

While you're here, have a little zoom in on this pretty girls t-shirt, I had fun with it! After colouring it a yummy olive green, I added some dot details with my clear blender pen. Once that dried, I went over the light spots with a bright yellow marker. It's subtle if you don't look closely, but adds some fun detail! (Both cards are coloured almost identically, so feel free to zoom in on whichever card you prefer!)

I'm submitting this next card in the Cute Card Thursday Challenge to make a card for someone special... I made it for a good friend of mine who was out of town on her birthday and, well, I guess I used that as an excuse to skip making her a birthday card! Ooops... hope this card will make up for that! I didn't use a sketch for this one- I cut her out with my Nestabilities and added a border stamp by Hampton Art along the paper edge. The sentiment is by Cornish Heritage Farms.
