I was so excited this week to see the latest Stamptacular Sunday Challenge because I had just completed this card using this stylin' lady by Magenta! I used tips from Cheri to colour her up just right with my Copics and then had fun putting together this card with the awesome "Brook" collection by Crate Paper. My sentiment is by Hero Arts. Lots of Prima flowers & leaves plus some bling finish her off! I based the layout on a sketch from the new 'Go To Sketches' book from Paper Crafts... of course, I took some liberties with it, but it gave me a great starting point!
This next card is the ONE project I completed during our Fiesta last weekend... which, quite honestly, is more than I usually get done when we're running an event like that :) This fabulous little fellow is "King of the Wild Things" by Stamping Bella and I had just been dying to make a card with him together with this "Quite Contrary" patterned paper by My Mind's Eye! I was thrilled to also use this new Core'dinations cardstock with it and assorted brads as an embellishment :) I'm adding this little dude to the current challenge with InLinkz to create a boy birthday card!
I swear to you... it wasn't until I was finished the card that I realized the colours were exactly the same as the last card I'd made! So I decided I'm turning it into a CHALLENGE!
I challenge you... to create ANY paper based project with these three colours this month! This challenge will extend until the end of May, giving you LOTS of time to work on it :) A random winner will be drawn from the entrant to win a prize package!
I will accept three sorts of entries (feel free to do it ALL three ways!):
1. Bring in a completed project for display in the store for approx 1 month.
2. Link to a project posted on your blog using the comments on this post.
3. Upload a photo of your project on our Facebook page.
Have fun creating! I'm in love with this colour combo right now and am looking forward to an excuse to create even more with it ;)
