I had the opportunity to spend some down time with my sister last weekend when she was feeling a bit under the weather. We hung out and watched tv & some movies and I took the opportunity to play with my Copic markers and some new stamps that hadn't seen ink yet! I took Pink Paislee's "Queen Bee" 6x6 paper pad with me and coloured some images to match it... then at our Crop last night I had the satisfaction of completing FOUR cards! Even more satisfying... I get to participate in some challenges that are still fresh! (I think I got my Stamptacular Sunday card in last week about 2 hours before they took down the links. LOL)
So... here's the first card! This card was done for two challenges- Friday Sketchers (I rotated the sketch to suit my image) & Raise The Bar (challenge to use Yellow, Grey & White).
It was fairly easy for me to fit the sketch- I used half of a 'flip note' (love these little die cut gems!) instead of the half circle on the sketch and added some ribbon & Distress Ink to punch up the yellow factor :) This sweet little fairy is by C.C. Designs, a new company we're carrying in the store, and the sentiment is by Hero Arts.
This second card isn't for any challenge... it's just a twist on the card I made for Mother's Day. I used the same layout with different papers from the 6x6 pad. Have I mentioned how much I love this collection of papers? The sentiment on this card is by Cornish Heritage Farms and is also new in the store this week!
