Introducing our Stamp of the Month for March- a gorgeous vintage "Papillion Post Card" image by Magenta. This cling mounted stamp will be a beautiful addition to your stamp collection that is especially versatile this time of the year!
The amazing Magenta artists created this first card, which is simply stamped in brown on patterned paper and coloured lightly with pencil crayons.
Tanya pulled out her Ranger Alcohol inks for this lovely card! The bottom butterfly is covered it crackle accents and mounted on 3D foam squares. I love the vintage looking lace at the bottom of the card, it adds some great texture!
I think this next card is my favorite! I love how cutting the image out in a circle, as Tanya has done here, really adds a twist to this image! Check out the background here- it's those amazing "Glazed" Bazzill Cardstock sheets! Don't they resist the distress ink beautifully? Love it!
This final card is my contribution. I played around and created a fabulous background paper with distress inks... then covered it up with Glitter Ritz. A bit of a waste of my background paper, but you can still see the texture through it I guess! This card is an off-center gate fold, which I sized to fit my image. The 3D butterfly was colored with Distress Inks then I added Distress Stickles to the outer edges and covered it in DG3 (aka Diamond Glaze or Glossy Accents). I inserted metallic thread into the glaze for the antenna and placed a bit of bling in the glaze while it was still wet. My flowers have been "smooched" with new Smooch Spray and the sentiment is from Hero Arts.
Hope you enjoyed the cards and will have fun playing with your new stamps! We'd love to see what you make with it!
