February 2010 SOTM

Here's they are: the sample cards for our February Stamp of the Month! You can see alternate photos and a bit of a how-to from both Tanya & Eulanda on their blogs. I apologize for the washed out photos... my camera died on me mid shoot and the camera I normally use for this is at home- oops! Of course, these all look much nicer in person, so we'd love it if you came to see them in the store :)This first card is my contribution to the board (I just couldn't let go and let the girls do ALL of them!) I stamped the wavy flower border on some satin ribbon from my stash with Brilliance ink (it's the BEST for ribbon!) and matched it with some pieces of the coordinating patterned papers. I embossed the frame, sentiment and butterfly using American Crafts ZING embossing powder and cut out the designs. They're edged lightly with distress ink and mounted on the card with foam squares. The addition of some Prima flowers and clear bling from Hero Arts finishes the card off. Hope you like it!
I won't bother describing these cards for you, as the girls have done so on their blogs- but I will tell ya the first two were created by Tanya and the final card by Eulanda :) Thanks so much for your contribution ladies- it's great having a helping hand with this project!
